Materiel introduction
Feldspar is the general name for feldspar mineral family. The chemical formula of feldspar is KAlSi3O8. The crystal is a rack-structured silicate mineral belongs to monoclinic system. Feldspar is the most important rock-forming mineral in the earth’s crust, which can be seen in most of magmatic rocks, some metamorphic rocks and sedimentary rocks. Feldspar is the main mineral component of almost all the igneous rocks. It is of great significance to the classification of rocks. Feldspar includes orthoclase, sanidine, microcline, slanting feldspar, and various kinds of plagioclases and barium feldspars, etc. They are the aluminosilicate of potassium, sodium, calcium and barium. Feldspar with abundant potassium or sodium is mainly used in ceramics, glass and ceramics industries; feldspar with rare elements as rubidium and cesium can be mineral materials to extract these elements.
